These Terms of Use ("the Terms") constitute the agreement between you and the developer of MagiFiler regarding your use of the MagiFiler app ("the App"). By using the App, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Description of the Service

The App provides local file management tools, including file browsing, search, duplicate detection, compression, preview, AI-powered semantic search, and network-share (SMB) connections. The feature scope of the free version and MagiFiler Pro is as displayed in the App.

If you obtained the App through the Mac App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. License and Activation

MagiFiler Pro is offered as a one-time purchase (perpetual license), not a subscription. After payment, a license key is delivered to the email address used for the purchase.

Each license key can be activated on up to 3 devices. You can deactivate a device in the App at any time to free up an activation slot.

If you lose your license key, you can recover it on our website using the email address used for the purchase.

Refunds are handled in accordance with the payment provider's (Creem) refund policy and applicable law.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to infringe the rights of others, distribute illegal content, or engage in any unlawful activities.

You must have lawful rights to the files you manage with the App, and lawful access rights to any servers or network shares you connect to.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its components (including the interface, icons, algorithms, and documentation) belong to the developer and are protected by law. Without written permission, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or use them commercially.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is", and the developer makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, and the developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed the license fee you actually paid for the App.

6. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time and will display the updated version in the App. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate the license and service provided to you.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent people's court at the developer's domicile.
